The full fall out of the Whirlwind collapse has now been calculated, with many in the industry owed tens to hundreds of thousands, and two companies stung for over a million.

$6.9m owed in total, employees stung for up to $78k, paper merchants suffer the most

Having obtained a copy of the creditors list for Whirlwind's two entities, Whirlwind Print, and Whirlwind Print (NSW), Australian Printer can report that the total figures owed between them is just under $7m.

Individual employees, who will claim their entitlements through FEGs, were owed up to $78k, with many owed tens of thousands, and a few owed between one to five thousand. The total figure owed between employees wages and superannuation comes to $2.39m.
